Camper’s Stuffed Apples

6 Braeburn apples
½ cup rolled oats
1/3 cup light brown sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter or plant-based alternative
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Combine oats, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl until well mixed.
- Core apples, starting at the stem and core towards the base, leaving the bottom intact.
- Fill apples with oat mixture and arrange in an oven safe baking dish.
- Bake apples for 40 minutes or until knife tender. Alternatively, cover apples with aluminum foil and place pan on the grill to bake.
